Lying on the triple-country border (Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay), the city of Foz do Iguaçu counts with the infrastructure needed to welcome and host all local and international visitors that will participate in the 1st South American Forum of Agriculture – CAS 2013, on November 21-22.
Located over 640 kilometers from Curitiba, visitors coming by car can get to Foz de Iguaçu through Route BR-277 (Brazil), Route 7 (Paraguay), and Route 12 (Argentina).
With approximately 265,000 inhabitants, Foz has the fourth largest hotel capacity in Brazil. Likewise, the city amazes visitors with its natural beauties such as the Iguaçu National Park and the famous Iguazu Falls, with 275 waterfalls, and the Itaipu Bi-national dam, which is the world´s largest hydroelectric power dam.
By plane, visitors should arrive to any of the international airports in the area: Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil), Guarani (Paraguay), and Iguazu (Argentina).
